Czech Point After School Program:

The Czech Point after school program is part of a grant Prague Elementary has applied for through the Avedis Foundation. This program offers a safe and educational environment designed to improve students’ academic achievement.

Enrollment and Fees:

The fee is $35.00 per student, every 9 weeks. The first payment is due on 1/20/23 and the next payment is due 3/24/23 Parents/Guardians must complete all enrollment forms and return them to the Director’s Office/ECC/Elementary before their child may attend.

Days and Hours:

The after school program will follow the school schedule Monday thru Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 on school days.

Activities:

Academic support such as tutoring, homework assistance and online curriculum programs will be provided. The time from 4:30 to 5:30 will be allotted for activities which include physical education, art, music, science, computers, music and health and nutrition.

Enrollment:

Parents/Guardians MUST complete ALL enrollment forms and return them to the office AND receive an acceptance before their child may attend.

Arrival and Departure:

Students will be walked over to the Elementary Library by grade level for Check-In and snacks every day. Check-Out will be at the front doors of the Upper Elementary. Parents or designated persons must come in and sign each child out. For security purposes, it is mandatory that only persons listed on the enrollment sheet will be allowed to pick up your child unless otherwise approved by the Director. The ECC students will be walked over to the Elementary Library after school. There will be a $5.00 late charge for students not picked up by 5:30. Habitually late pick-ups will be removed from the program. Please notify staff if there is an emergency or problem with arriving on time. All students will be picked up at the Upper Elementary this school year.

Illness and Medication:

If a child is showing symptoms of illness, he or she will be removed from the group and if needed, parents or the child’s physician will be contacted. Written authorization for staff to administer your child’s medication must be accompanied with the original container with your child’s full name on it, the proper dosage and directions. All medications will be kept in a locked area.

Inclement Weather:

Should severe weather become a problem, all students and staff will move to the ECC Storm shelter. Check-out will be inside the front doors of the ECC if there is a

Tornado Warning:

School cancellations and early closings will also apply to the after school program.

Personal Belongings:

The after school program is not responsible for lost or damaged property. Toys, cell phones and electronics are NOT allowed to be in use during the program. Please label any extra clothes and jackets with your child’s name.

Food Services:

A snack will be served daily. Please include any allergies on your child’s enrollment sheet.
