The Prague Christmas Tree Project is collecting NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS, WARM HATS, & GLOVES for this year’s distribution. Please send these items with your student(s) or drop them off at the school office. The deadline for donations is Monday, December 1st. Student contributions arethe only resource for The Christmas Tree Project to provide non-perishable food items to the families we serve. Thank you in advance for supporting your community!
The Prague Christmas Tree Project is celebrating its 43rd year of provid- ing Christmas for needy families and low-income senior citizens. This is the 13th year for Calvary Way Church to direct the program.
Families in the Prague School District and Senior Citizens must be approved to participate, and must work at least three hours setting up or taking down the store to earn points with which to shop for toys for their children. The families also receive a food basket and personal hy- giene items. Last year, a record number of , 91 households (including 183 children), and 32 senior citizens received help from the Christmas Tree Project’s store.
Monetary donations can be made at calvarywaychurch.org/give (please choose “The Christmas Tree Project” as your fund).
If you would like to apply for The Christmas Tree Project, applications can be made at Calvary Way Church, Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 2:00pm (closed Wednesday Morning). Application are due November 14th. You can also scan the QR code to apply.
