Prague Elementary Parents! The Sign Gypsies will have a "First Day of School" sign set up on the front lawn of the elementary on Thursday. The sign will stay in place throughout the following week. If you would like to take a picture of your child's first day using the sign, please keep in mind that the circle drive is a drop-off lane, so you will need to park your car before taking advantage of this wonderful photo opportunity. Thank you for your help in making Thursday morning a flawless beginning to a wonderful year!

What a wonderful turnout of parents we had at Prague Elementary for Meet Your Teacher Night! Thank you to this stellar group of student-leaders who assisted in helping parents and students find their classrooms!

High school parking spots are now available to all students. You can stop by room 102 at the High School during Meet the Teacher tonight to claim your spot and pay.

Prague Public Schools was shown amazing generosity today starting with a delicious breakfast of biscuits and gravy and cash drawings from Vision Bank and then a homemade Mexican luncheon from First Baptist Church and Community Church. The details that go into planning and executing such beautiful giving is noticed and greatly appreciated by all the Prague School staff. Thank you so much for loving, supporting, and serving us well!

We apologize for the inconveniences yesterday with the Sylogist parent account and seeing your student's teacher. As of 1:00 PM today it is all fixed and you can now log in and see who your student's teacher will be for the 23-24 school year. Don't forget! Meet the teacher and the Community Health Fair tonight!

Prague Elementary class lists were posted on Sylogist (WenGage) today, but there is a glitch in their system, so parents will be unable to view the lists online today. When you come tomorrow night to "Meet Your Teacher" at 6:00 pm, several of our elementary student leaders will assist you in finding your child's name on the assigned teacher's list and will be ready to help you find the classroom. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Middle and High School Parents: Please be sure to fill out all paperwork on Rank One if you student is in athletics or band. -If your student drives to school or is in Ag, they need to have a drug test consent form. -E-sport students need to have drug test consent and eligibility form filled out. *All paperwork need needs to be filled out before the start of school on August 10 or your student will not be able to participate until the forms are completed. Prague High School senior swim party is tonight at the Prague Public Pool at 6:30!

Tuesday, August 8th is Meet the Teacher Night and the Prague Community Health Fair! Meet the Teacher times for each school: E.C.C. 5:30 - 6:00 Elementary 6:00 - 6:30 Middle School 6:30 - 7:00 High School 7:00 - 7:30 The health fair will be located at the community center (elementary cafeteria) from 4:00 - 8:00. Admission is free and services include: 7th grade TDaP shots Free Health Screenings Car Seat Checks Children Fingerprinting - OSDH Mobile Unit OBI Blood Drive from 4:00 - 7:00 There will be a school staff member on site to help with enrollment and computers available.

Also joining our Agricultural Education program is Kason Cathey. Mr. Cathey and Ms. Rumsey are excited to meet all of the students next week! "My name is Kason Cathey and I am so excited to be teaching Agricultural Education and advising students in our FFA program. I cannot wait to not only get to teach students about the many facets of the agriculture industry in the classroom, but also supervise students in a variety of laboratory and competitive settings. I’m thrilled to be at Prague High School, and I am most excited to give students an opportunity to learn, grow, and gain experiences through the many opportunities Ag Education has to offer just as I had in my own high school Ag program."

Josten's will be at the high school on August 24th to meet with Seniors and Sophomores in order to go over Graduate products, Cap and Gown ordering information, and Class Ring ordering information. There will be a follow-up meeting on August 28th for both Seniors and Sophomores to turn in order forms and down payments.

Early Childhood Parents, tomorrow we will have Popsicles with the Principal! From 5:00 - 6:00 you can come by the Early Childhood Center and meet Principal Brown and get popsicle! There will be computers available to those who still need to enroll.

Rachel Rumsey is a graduate of Prague Public Schools and we are excited to have her back, teaching Agricultural Education. Welcome Ms. Rumsey! "What I am most excited about this year is that I am back home in my hometown and getting to teach in the same school/classroom that I fell in love with Agriculture in!
